Organic photodetector technology bring benefits of cost reduction replacing amorphous silicon technology for large area image sensors.

Organic photodetectors can be combined with organic thin film transistors for image sensor on plastic (replacing glass panel for amorphous silicon) to offer robust to shock sensor panel and to open door to disruptive product innovation with curved shape image sensors.

 Organic photodetector finally brings also performance to image sensor with lower sensitivity to temperature (compared to amorphous silicon)
